I am writing this review after losing our dream home during making private offers. As a buyer and as the under bidder, losing a house at the very end is heartbreaking but Shane made this experience positive in the only way it could have been. He was friendly, polite, kind, very responsive and spoke to us respectfully. At no point did we feel pressured while engaging in the already stressful ordeal of making offers and trying to outbid other potential buyers. He promptly responded to messages, returned calls and kept us updated with honest and accurate information. This was a vastly different experience to the last time we found a dream house 6 months ago and was treated terribly by the selling agent. I understand the need to represent his client, but he was rude, condescending, never gave straight answers, bluffed and exaggerated interest. After the house passed in at auction with zero bids, we made an initial offer under the reserve price and he scoffed and told us the vendor laughed at us as well as swore at him. He kept insisting that he is sure we have much, much more to offer (which was true, but our desire for the property dwindled along with our willingness to talk to this agent). We reiterated it was simply an initial offer while we wanted to wait for other offers to get an indication of market feedback. After pressuring us numerous times and telling us the house will be sold if we don't increase our offer, he ultimately sold it 2 months later without ever contacting us again. We were put off house hunting for 6 months! Shane was such a refreshing contrast to welcome us back to house hunting, and even though we lost an even more loved and perfect dream home, at least we walked away feeling we were treated with respect and kindness. We are already very wary of the stigma towards ethnic buyers and appreciate being treated with respect. Thankyou, Shane! Hope you can find us the one!

The results Shane achieved are unbelievable. He was recommended to me by a colleague of mine, and I'm so thankful I followed her recommendation and contacted Shane! From the first time we sat down with Shane we knew he was going to do some amazing work. After an unsuccessful campaign and auction with a different agent, Shane made us feel very confident and we were super excited to start our campaign with him. He already surpassed our expectations from the get go when a friend of mine told me she'd seen our house on Shane's Facebook page even before it went live on the real estate websites!
